- Place Your Order
The easiest way to place your order is right here on this Web site. It's simple, fast and secure. If you're not comfortable ordering online, you are welcome to phone in your order. Click here for contact info.
You will receive confirmation that your order has been received and that it has begun processing.
- Send in your Photo or Artwork
You can upload your photo(s) when placing your order online. You can also e-mail or surface mail them to us. Photos can be in any common file format, such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PSD, PDF, etc, or you can even send us a photograph or slide through the mail and we'll scan it for you and return your photo. We can also accept photos sent to us on CD's, DVD's or thumb drivers. No matter how you send your photo(s) to us, the better the quality the photo is, the easier it is for the artist to accurately reproduce your image as a painting. With that in mind, our artists do an exceptional job of viewing even lower quality photos and turning them into outstanding paintings. So, if you only have a very old, beat-up print of a special moment, don't hesitate to send it in. We examine all photos before turning them over to our artists, so if there are any issues we will contact you before proceeding.
The status of your order will be updated online and via e-mail so you know we have received your photos.
- Painting is Created
Immediately after receiving your photo or artwork and inspecting it to make sure there are no issues, we send the photo(s) on to the most appropriate artist for the category of painting you have ordered. Shortly thereafter your painting will be started.
At this time we will update the status of your order both online and via e-mail.
- Approve Your Completed Painting
When the artists completes the painting we will update your status online and we will send you an e-mail with a digital picture of your completed painting. You can then inspect the picture and either approve it or if there is something you're not 100% satisfied with you can request a change. You can either respond to the e-mail or call us and give us a detailed description of any changes you would like. After the artist completes the changes you will then be sent a new picture of your modified painting for approval. We will continue this process until you are 100% satisfied with the painting.
Once approved the artist will immediately ship the painting to us and we will e-mail you an invoice for the balance due. You will be able to pay securely through a link in the e-mail, call and pay the balance or send in the balance with a check or money order.
After payment has been received we update the status of your order online and also send an e-mail with tracking information for your painting.
- Snap 2 Art Prepares your Painting, then Ships
As soon as your painting arrives from the artist, we do whatever preparation is necessary based on your order, such as gallery wrapping, stretching and/or framing your painting. We then pack the painting in a mailing tube if it is a rolled canvas, or safely pack the painting in purpose-built art shipping boxes. If your payment for the balance has cleared, we immediately ship the painting by the method you requested.
We update the status of your order online and also send an e-mail with tracking information for your painting.
